It is compatible with DSLR cameras, audio recorders and iOS devices with Lightning ports. A clip on transmitter unit with an omnidirectional microphone for enhanced audio recording is included with the system. The components communicate with each other up to a distance of 328′. The receiver controls can switch between the first and second levels of amplification, while those of the transmitter have the option to enable attenuation or noise reduction. When recording outdoors, the foam windshield on the transmitter helps reduce wind noise. Built in batteries allow the transmitter to operate for 6 hours and the receiver for 8 hours.
